Hi ! This is a big pain point for me so I would like to do a PR for this. Is this feature still wanted in helios ?

Why not?

I, personally, got used to Ctrl+space menu commands and they actually are terrific when you know what to press after Ctrl+space (K, XM, MT seem to be most used), but sure, having menus open is something many are used to and do not want to learn different way (including me when I started to use Helios).

I didn't know the Ctrl+space trick, that's fantastic! Maybe the problem is not about not having right click then, but about Ctrl-Space being hard to discover?

Would it make sense to put the keyboard shortcut at the right of each command in the dropdown, for example writing "c c" at the right of "Copy class"? It would let the user know that there are keyboard shortcuts. Then, we can display a message saying "Open Actions menu with Ctrl+Space" when hovering the shortcut? I'm not sure about this part.

What do you think?

Not sure what you actually mean, but I can imagine a shortlived suggestion could appear a la Pharo whenever you choose command from the dropdown. Such shortlived showoffs are available somewhere in Helios, since they are used to show compile progress (try Object recompile or even Compiler recompileAll). But I would open another issue for that.

Mmmmh, then I will take a look at the exact behaviour of these suggestions in Pharo, and I may come up with a new issue :-)
